Problem

The Vision for Education website looked dated. Its visuals clashed with the new brand guidelines. It was hard to use on smaller screens and failed basic accessibility standards. The geographical search did not work well. Branches were hard to find, and the way they were presented confused people.

Investigation

I started with the people using the site. Through user research and interviews, I learned what they needed and where they got stuck. The same frustration came up again and again. People struggled to find jobs. They struggled to find their nearest branch.

Insight

The site needed more than a fresh coat of paint. It needed a visual update, a reliable component library and a CMS that worked for the team maintaining it. Better search and clearer branch visibility had to sit at the centre of it all.

Solution

I rebuilt the experience around what people told us. The new design follows the brand guidelines and works across devices. It meets accessibility standards. A redesigned location search makes branches easy to find. A flexible component system, paired with a CMS the team could rely on, keeps the site consistent and easy to update. The result is a website that helps people find the right job and the right branch, quickly.
